1. So my darling Jacey came home this weekend. And that is always a delight. I miss that girl. Erryday. Erry damn day. (Coach reference anyone??) Anyways, it was glorious to spend time together. And although our time was limited this past weekend, Jada and I did manage to squeeze in some crafting. Yarn pom poms have been on my radar as of late. I have seen a few garlands made of said pom poms and so Jacey and I set to making ourselves some. This video was particularly helpful. Someone has got to start Georgia crafting….

2. Jada came home to celebrate my first baby shower with my ball hockey girls. And I will be the first to say I am one spoiled individual. Those girls are something else. Among all the loveliness that I received was adorable outfits, gorgeous vintage items, a handcrafted pennant, the Cadillac of all strollers and the MOST beautiful antique sideboard that is going to be my baby change table. Spoiled. I know. I told you.

3. I spent the end of last week putting together product shots of all of our Murphy’s seasonal goodies. It is a job that gets put off because its “extra” but it feels wonderful to get started on – especially with our new packaging! AND it became a necessity in the process of setting up our online store. Yes online store. Bahhh. It will be launching this weekend. Stay tuned for updates!

4. Lastly, as I write this post I am wearing 2 layers of track pants, 3 shirts and a tuque. In.My.Home. Because, my furnace is on the fritz. And by on the fritz I mean broken. As in not working. Not heating our home. It is currently zero degrees. Which really isn’t as bad as it could be. Hopefully this furnace situation will sort itself out ASAP. Parts are being ordered, and a fix is on the way – hopefully before we turn into popsicles.

Oh my godddddddd! Your furnace is broken! That’s terrible! At least it had the decency to die in November and not the dead of winter when it’s minus 40 out. Can’t wait to see how the pom pom garland looks. Might be cute in the Nursery!
