1. Tell me that you too have also been afraid of corn chowder? That the very word chowder has creeped you out for yeeeears. No? Well, for me perhaps it has been a subconscious association with the word chowder to, you guessed it, clam. Barf. I wanted nothing to do with clams and thus chowder for all of my life. That is until last week. My sister mentioned whipping up a batch and when I gagged in front of her at the thought of corn chowder she processed to lecture me on the fact that it was indeed clam free. And so against my better judgement I tried it when out for dinner last week. And I was wrong. Oh so wrong. And I’m never going back. Bring on the corn chowder.

2. I’m really jonesing for TV to start back up again. I have missed my friends. Nick Miller and Schmidt in particular. Oh and everyone at the former Seattle Grace, all of the Dumphey’s… not to mentioned Mr. Levine (who I hope has dyed his hair back to normal). I misssssss you TV. And I’m not ashamed to admit it.

3. Today is going to be productive. I can feel it. I might try to find the bottom of my desk. Its been missing for a few months but I am confident I can locate it again. Well fairly confident.

4. My sister Jacey posted about how good it feels to purge your closet every now and again. And how she was embarrassed to admit she went back through the pile she was going to donate and pulled out a fee items. Wanna know what is more embarrassing? When you go to Goodwill and buy BACK a cardigan said sister had TAKEN to Goodwill the week before. Yes, that happened.

5. Last Thursday one of the greatest things in recent history happened. (except of course for the arrival of Georgia!) Our pie boxes that I have been working on for about two years arrived by Fedex Freight. 3 beautiful skids full. I ran across the lawn to greet the driver. I may have danced. I wanted to cry with joy. They are a thing of beauty. And they’re thankfully not stained with the the blood, sweat and tears that went into their making.
